The PSA poster I created was to inform young teen girls how teen pregnancy has become a big issue in society. Teens complain that school is difficult and that book bags are heavy to carry with all the books, but they have no idea how difficult having a baby and having to take care of it really is. Now a days, teens are having sexual relations but aren’t careful at all. Some see it so easy that if they were to become pregnant, they think they will be able to handle it, when in reality at the age we are in, our mentality isn’t fully ready for that responsibility. This poster is really to persuade teens to not have sexual relations and if they do to take the actions they need to prevent teen pregnancy. It is shocking to know that over 750,000 teens become pregnant every year. That number keeps on going up every year. This is all because they don’t take the actions they need to so they could stay safe and not have a pregnancy come out of it. The PSA poster also does inform of things that could be done if a pregnancy does occur such as calling the number that is on the poster or just to ask for help, to go to someone who is going to help and not be judgmental. Teen pregnancy could be prevented, if they are safe or even abstinent.
