The Adobe Foundation is hosting its second international Adobe Youth Voices Summit August 2 - 6. The Summit will bring together youth and educators from 16 different countries for educator and peer-led workshops, panel discussions, and "behind-the-scene" view of media creation from some of the most premiere technologists in the world.
"Media Beyond Borders", the theme of the Summit, defines the intent and purpose of the event — Educators and youth from around the world with a common goal of creating collaborative media that express a shared vision for positive change.
Opening with a keynote address from reporter, author, and human rights advocate, Laura Ling, the Summit schedule includes workshops, panel discussions with industry leaders and career mentor activities, giving participants opportunities to engage and learn from their peers, educators and mentors.
The Summit ends with the Adobe Youth Voices Live! Summit Celebration — a vibrant and dynamic display of work and talent produced by young people at the Summit, hosted at the California Theatre, in San Jose.
